The crèche is available during the 10am service for children aged four and under and also parents with babies.  There are also some bags (containing books and materials for colouring) at the back of church to occupy children who wish to stay in church.  Due to the risk of trip hazards, it would be appreciated if parents/guardians would please supervise their children whilst in the crèche and tidy up upon leaving.

Parish Visits: When visiting anyone on behalf of St. Mary’s, can we please ask that you be kind enough to let Carol Sharman know (01536725759), in order to avoid anyone being missed out.  Would you also let Carol know if you notice anyone who is not in church for a few weeks, so that we can make enquiries and, if felt appropriate, arrange a visit.  Thank you for your co-operation.

Volunteers wanted: Could you give up a little of your time on the occasional Sunday to help with making the coffee after the morning service or counting the collection?  Also, we need more sidesmen who are the welcoming face at the door.  If you feel able to contribute to any of these roles please have a word with Sue Hartley.

Energy saving light bulbs: We need to replace the light bulbs in the centre aisles/choir stalls with energy saving bulbs, but these are very expensive to buy.  Would any members of the congregation be prepared to sponsor one of these bulbs at a price of £10 each?  It would be fantastic if people were able to assist with this.  If you would like further information or to help with sponsorship please speak to Carol Sharman (725759).

Lent Daylight Centre Appeal: Please place any donations of men’s toiletries, clothes, towels and blankets in the crate at the back of church.  Thank you in anticipation of your support – The Outreach Team
