The crèche is available during the 10am service for children aged four and under and also parents with babies.  There are also some bags (containing books and materials for colouring) at the back of church to occupy children who wish to stay in church.  Due to the risk of trip hazards, it would be appreciated if parents/guardians would please supervise their children whilst in the crèche and tidy up upon leaving.

Parish Visits: When visiting anyone on behalf of St. Mary’s, can we please ask that you be kind enough to let Carol Sharman know (01536725759), in order to avoid anyone being missed out.  Would you also let Carol know if you notice anyone who is not in church for a few weeks, so that we can make enquiries and, if felt appropriate, arrange a visit.  Thank you for your co-operation.

Bible Studies – “Moses” continues at Ann’s (9 Pebbleford Road, Kettering) on Thursday, 28th July, at 3 pm.  All welcome.

Women’s fellowship: we are having a Charity Event on Tuesday July 26th at

3 pm in the church.  It is in aid of The Monday Club, which is a very worthwhile local Charity.  There will be lots of various stalls, raffle, cake stall and the chance to buy a delicious cream tea.  Free admission.

Next meeting for the Outreach team will be on Thursday, 28th July (7 pm start) at 13 Glade Close.  Please confirm your attendance or otherwise with Tony or Chris ASAP.

The 2016 Burton Latimer Garage Sale, in aid of funds for the Children’s Society, will be held on Saturday, 13th August, from 10am-3pm. Pre-paid stalls £5 (£10 on the day).  Further details from Janet Kirton.

Volunteers wanted for the Greenbelt Festival at Boughton House over August Bank Holiday weekend.  You get to attend the festival for free when not on shift, and have access to the Volunteer Lounge for free hot and cold drinks as well as other support.  There are three teams where people are most needed: Site Vibing, Stewards, Children.  If you feel that you could help, please have a word with Jez.

The church annual cycle ride will take place on Sunday, 25th September in the afternoon at Grafham Water.  Tea provided.  This year we are raising money to support Yvonne, our Church Army worker.   See Sue for more details.

Choir of the Year 2016 Several friends at St. Mary’s will probably be interested to know that Christopher Finch heard last week that he had got TWO of his choirs through to the category final of  “Choir of the Year 2016”.  This will be held at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, on the evening of Sunday, 16th October.  If anyone is interested, have a word with Bob or Jean (tel. 524974) asap because they are planning to organise a party booking and shared transport to the event, and would love to have you with them!
