Notices

Dates for your diaries

If you would like to understand your bible a little better, over the four Wednesdays in November we shall be studying the good news of Jesus’ life from four different angles, led by the Rt Revd Wallace Benn, a much loved bible scholar and teacher.  More details later.

The crèche is available during the 10am service for children aged four and under and also parents with babies.  There are also some bags (containing books and materials for colouring) at the back of church to occupy children who wish to stay in church.  Due to the risk of trip hazards, it would be appreciated if parents/guardians would please supervise their children whilst in the crèche and tidy up upon leaving.

New to St. Mary’s?  If you would like any information or assistance, one of our welcomers/sidespersons, who can be found at the rear of the church, will be very happy to help you.

Stewardship/collecting plate Many members of the congregation give monthly by bankers order and do not use the collecting plate.  If you would like to do the same or use the yellow envelope system, please contact one of the sidesmen at the back of the church.

Vision Day update: We are still collating the information we received and the results will be displayed for you to see in the next week or so.

Next Outreach Team meeting is on Wednesday, 5th August, at the Armstrong’s (7pm start).

Day trip to Skegness – Tuesday, 1st September.  Sign-up sheet at the back of church.  Further details available from Bob Miller (725974) or see notice in porch.

The sponsored cycle ride to raise money for our link parish in Bungoma will be on Sunday, 27th September, in the afternoon at Grafham Water.  Please keep the date free.  Details about the event and how you can sponsor the riders will be available soon.
