The Blessed Virgin Mary (Patronal Festival)

8am Holy Communion

10am Parish Eucharist

Hymns: 605, 88, 741 and 631

The crèche is available during the 10am service for children aged four and under and also parents with babies.  There are also some bags (containing books and materials for colouring) at the back of church to occupy children who wish to stay in church.  Due to the risk of trip hazards, it would be appreciated if parents/guardians would please supervise their children whilst in the crèche and tidy up upon leaving.

New to St. Mary’s?  If you would like any information or assistance, one of our welcomers/sidespersons, who can be found at the rear of the church, will be very happy to help you.

Stewardship/collecting plate Many members of the congregation give monthly by bankers order and do not use the collecting plate.  If you would like to do the same or use the yellow envelope system, please contact one of the sidesmen at the back of the church.

Tuesday, 8th September.  The Deanery Prayer Group meets in the Chapter House at 7.30pm for an hour of prayer following by refreshments and fellowship. All welcome. Further information from Gwyneth.

Next Credo Men’s event is on Monday, 21st September (8pm start) when we’ll meet for a “Drink and Chat”at the Olde Victoria to discuss…….World Cup Rugby, future events and activities. See you there!

The Sponsored cycle ride in aid of our sister parish in Bungoma is taking place on Sunday afternoon 27th September.  There is a sponsor form at the back of church if you feel able to support the riders.  The money goes to the local church in Bungoma who are able to develop their mission within the community.  See Sue if you are to join us at Grafham water.  Tea provided.
