Crèche available during the 10am service for children aged four and under and also parents with babies.  There are also some bags (containing books and materials for colouring) at the back of church to occupy children who wish to stay in church.  Due to the risk of trip hazards, it would be appreciated if parents/guardians would please supervise their children whilst in the crèche and tidy up upon leaving.

Stewardship/collecting plate Many members of the congregation give monthly by bankers order and do not use the collecting plate.  If you would like to do the same or use the yellow envelope system, please contact one of the sidesmen at the back of the church.

Prayer list:  The names of those who are ill or in need of prayer will remain on the prayer list for three weeks.  However, we realise that some people may need to be on for longer and, if this is the case, please speak with Carol Sharman who will be happy to arrange this.

Operation Christmas Child Appeal will be launched on Sunday, 15th October.  The blessing of the filled boxes will take place on Sunday, 19th November.

Concert by Thrapston Town Band, in church on Sunday, 15th October, at

2.30 pm.  Tickets £5 per person (including light refreshments) and further details available from Bob Miller (725974)

The next Men’s Credo event is on Monday, 23rd October with a visit to Franklin’s Gardens to watch Saints Wanderers play Newcastle Falcons (7.30pm KO).  Tickets will be £5 each. Please contact Tony (K726833) If interested.

All Souls Service – Sunday, 29th October, at 3pm, to commemorate the dearly departed.  All are welcome.

Knit to remember: Many members of our community have been knitting or crocheting poppies to create a display for Remembrance Day.  We are now offering a chance for people to commemorate a poppy to someone lost.  You can do this at the back of church or via the Royal British Legion stall at the November farmers’ market.  All donations will be added to the collection at the remembrance service for the Royal British Legion.
